Psychotherapy sessions are available on a weekly, biweekly, or as-needed basis. Standard sessions are 45 minutes in length, with extended and more frequent appointments available when clinically appropriate. The expected duration of treatment varies according to each client's unique needs and goals and will be discussed following the initial intake evaluation.
As an out-of-network provider, I do not bill insurance directly. Fees for standard psychotherapy sessions are $300, and payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card.
Many clients choose private-pay services because they offer a greater degree of confidentiality, as mental health diagnoses and treatment information are not routinely shared with insurance companies. In addition, private payment allows treatment decisions to be guided by the client's needs and therapeutic goals, rather than by insurance requirements or limitations.
For clients whose insurance plans include out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide documentation and receipts that may be submitted to their insurance carrier for potential reimbursement.
